About

Siblings first. A duo by choice.

We grew up in the same practice room — one on violin, one on cello — and started playing weddings for family and friends long before it was a business.

Our Story

Years and dozens of ceremonies later, we know what a room needs.

Some couples want a ceremony that sounds like their grandparents' wedding. Others want the processional to feel like the opening scene of a film. We've played both kinds of weddings — often in the same season — and learned exactly what to play, how loud, and when.

We've performed in churches, backyards, vineyards, and ballrooms, in every kind of Southern Ontario weather a ceremony can survive.

A Quick History

Moments we've played for

A short timeline of the kinds of events we've built our repertoire around.

2018

Played our first family wedding together — a small backyard ceremony that turned into years of referrals.

2020 – 2022

Took on friends'-of-friends weddings across the GTA, building our traditional and contemporary sets.

2023

Played our first fully film-scored ceremony — a couple wanted their processional built entirely around a soundtrack theme.

2024 – Today

Regularly booked for weddings across Southern Ontario, indoors and out, and launching Fermata Events to formalize it.
